3D giant film Titanic and 3D glasses
|
James Cameron’s Titanic 3D and IMAX were released in China. Kate Wins let’s nude scene in Titanic became instantly the focus of Chinese netizens’ attention. In 1997, the scene where Jack draws the nude portrait of Rose was completely uncut and displayed on a wide screen in China, which was deeply registered in the memory of Chinese. 15 years later, when Titanic sails into the cinema again, the nude scene was removed by Chinese censors. The 3D Titanic brings the close feeling as if you are in the condition. The Titanic wins the good scores on the first play day. But the 3 hours play time brings the disadvantage of eyes strain. It is true that 3D glasses bring bad effect for eyes.
The 3D glass is bad for your eyes, you always in loss of brightness in some form or another regardless of what the 3D products you are using, What is the more, if you are not usually wear the glasses . You will feel uncomfortable and the novelty of it becomes a point of focus and annoyance.
1)Watching 3D content will always result in loss of brightness in some form or another regardless of what 3D technology you are using
2) The glasses are uncomfortable for people who don't normally wear glasses, because those people are not used to wearing glasses and the novelty of it becomes a point of focus and annoyance
3) The glasses are uncomfortable for people who do normally wear glasses, because the 3D glasses must be worn over those existing glasses (unless 3D clip-on lenses are used)
4) 3D technology requires on-going maintenance Passive 3D technology does not require much maintenance, but it is also rare to find on the consumer market.
5) The cost of adding or replacing glasses for consumer 3D TV is expensive than a normal glasses. It means that you should take time to take good care of.
6) For standard Cable TV broadcasts, it is not possible to achieve 1080i High Definition for 3D content using the existing cable TV standards. Instead, 3D content is broadcast in a lower resolution format.
7) 3D content can in some cases cause varying degrees of eye-strain to some viewers, especially after watching for long periods of time. Part of the technical reason for this is that the 3D imagery tricks your brain into thinking something is in front of the screen when in fact it is not. Your brain will go to the limbo and need time to recover.
When your brain tries to focus on the physical space in front of the screen, there is a conflict because there is nothing physically there for your eyes to focus on, and this conflict can cause some discomfort and eye strain. It's similar to how crossing your eyes for an extended period of time can cause discomfort.
Titanic 3D call up the memory of 2D Titanic, but during watch time of Titanic, the eyes care is also an important on the watch time.
